I am sure that most of you have seen the commercials for the personalized m&m candies. I was thinking about getting some made for Amanda. One of those "just because" gifts. The price was a HUGE factor in my decision. I was thinking it would cost something like $10, at most. So last night I went to check out how it is done. I get to the price and see that it is $11.99 for a 7 oz. bag. BUT, you have to buy a minimum of 4 bags. That brings the cost to a WHOPPING $47.96 for 28 oz. of candy that has writing on it. I love my wife, but I just cannot spend her hard earned money on that.

Personalized M&M's

ReplyDeleteit would have to be a death wish from someone. maybe my feelings would change if i actually started making money one day. but for now...yeah it has to be a death wish, and then i am not sending flowers.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should split an order with another couple. They could pick the message for one M&M and you pick the other. Then you hold a nice dinner party with your purchase buddies, pour the M&Ms onto the middle of the table, and separate the "Scott & Amanda" from the "Bert & Ernie".
