DEAD WEEK

I am sure that you college students have heard this term before (Dead Week). For me this never meant anything at LSU. But, today I tell you this to let you know that this will be my last post for a while.
I am in the middle of moving out. That means no more computer play time. I have to get to packing and everything like that. Sorry for having to do this. I know that my blog pretty much makes your day.

I will leave you with this funny picture:

Remember that - 1.5

This was from I do not know how many years ago. Maybe three years or so. It was right after Kelly, Eric, and I just finished our last final for the semester. We went home and threw papers everywhere in excitement of being DONE. School may be worth doing just for that feeling of it being over, ok not really.

Today was my last day of the semester. I am done till next semester. I am going to enjoy my next week by slowly cleaning/moving into the new house.

Remeber that - 1.4

I am not allowed to tell you who this is in the picture. I am also not allowed to tell you what this person is making. What I can tell you is that the cops showed up shortly after a very very loud noise. We had no idea where that noise came from.

Remember that - 1.3

Not many people would know about this picture. I still think that it is worthy of bringing it up. That was a lot of fun and I am laughing while typing just thinking about it. We will just say that the person who lived in that room was not happy! It was all fun and games though.

Nintendo Wii

I thought that it was very important for the public to be aware of a couple of things. It seems that people are having trouble keeping that remote in their hands. There is a strap that comes with this remote but it does not seem to work very well. These are a couple of pictures to give you examples of what can happen.

YOU REALLY NEED TO CHECK OUT THIS WEB-SITE: http://www.wiihaveaproblem.com/

Remember that - 1.2

I have had my share of family vacations with the Head family. This was one of the many trips to Texas. This particular shot was taken in Galveston.
I thought that I would post this for my little sister who just showed up on my blog with a couple of comments. I thought that she would enjoy this wonderful picture. Love ya A-K.

Remeber that - 1.1

Our famous canoe trip that we made after finals. I think that we made this trip two years in a row. I am not sure which one this was. I think that this was the second one. I cannot remeber though.
In this picture we have Jake, Caleb, (Someone), Tara, Matt, Amanda (Courville), Scott, Justin, Jen, Josh (I think), Stephanie, Dustin, Eric, Kelly, Shawn, and last and least Kristen. Can anyone make out who the other person is next to Caleb. I am so sorry that I can not make out who that is! Don't be mad!

Well that was just another picture from Remember that.

Remeber That -1.0

I have been flipping through pictures over the past couple of days so I think that I am going to be posting some memories up here for all of us to remember. Unless you were not there, then you would not remember.

This one right here was from my 2nd year at LSU. I was moving to Baton Rouge, into an apartment. Sean and Justin came to help me out that day. Me and Sean shaved our heads and tried to get Justin to but that was not happening. BUT...look at how short his hair is! I do not think that it has been that short since probably when that picture was taken. I think that we need to gain up on him and shave his head for him.

Well I hope that you enjoy this picture. There will be more later. Sorry about the quality of the photograph.

Shaw Christmas Party

Well it was my first company Christmas Party and I had a blast. I loved being able to see all of my office buddies again. Since I have not been to work in a while. The food was WONDERFUL. They had lots of it to go around. I saw plenty of spouses that were there just because they had to be, and they knew nobody so they looked bored! It was different for Amanda and I since we knew pretty much all of the same people, so it was not bad at all.

Overall I give my first company party a 9.9, only because there were a couple of people that I would have liked to have seen there and they did not show. Oh well...their loss.

Do you remember when....?

Ok, so today was the last day of classes at LSU, yes, unlike ULL we are still taking finals.

So I was wondering something today. Have I totally lost it? I mean I know that I lost it a long time ago, but now I think that I am losing everything. When I got out of my last class of the semester what did I do? I walked across campus and I went talk with my math prof. I asked some questions about homework and I left his office. Did I go home after that? NO, I went to my other profs office and I went over some homework with him. So it was not until like 2 hours after my last class ended that I came home. Did I party when I got there? NO, I started fixing super, kissed my wife good-bye (she was leaving for the night) and I started watching some TV. Yeah, that is right...no hooping and screaming. Where is the excitement in my life? I know that finals are still ahead of me, but I remember the days when I would go home to my friends and love it up that we did not have classes for another 6 weeks.

Am I getting old?

LSU Christmas Tree Lighting

I figured that since it was my 7th year at LSU that I would go ahead and go to a Christmas Tree lighting. It was pretty cool. I think that I had seen the Christmas tree before, just not the official lighting of it. There was also some other incentive to going, there was free food after. I had Deano's Pizza, yeah that is right Deano's was over there. There were a bunch of other places too, I ate at most of them. You can also see that they had ballon art. Can you guess what Amanda's was suppose to be? We also took pictures with Santa. I have to find the web-site they were posted to though. I lost the sheet that told me. So maybe I will post that for you later on.

Spiderman 3

I wanted to be able to put this video directly on my blog page but I am not good enough to do that. I have no idea how! I tried going to google and simply hitting "put on my blog" but it was not working out. Maybe somone can help me out with that later on.

Anyway...
This is the preview to "Spiderman 3" if you feel like watching it. I thought that it looks good. We have a couple of things that are coming together in this one. Although JT will most likely not like the movie since it most likely will have things that do not follow the comic exactly, such as in X-3. Thanks for letting me pick on you JT.

here is the video link:

What a turn of events

Ohio State Buckeyes VS. Florida Gators

Who would have thought that was going to happen? USC losses to UCLA and does not make it to the National Championship. Florida slides right in there. That is crazy! I do not know much about the BCS but I think that messed up LSU's chances of making to the Rose Bowl. Oh well.

On one hand I would like to see Florida get STOMPED on just so I can laugh at big bro. On the other hand it would be nice for another SEC team to hold the Championship. I guess that we will see how that turns out in just a couple of weeks.

Back in the day

This is most likely all jumbled together since I just copied and pasted it in here, but hey I am not perfect. A friend emailed this to me, I do not like to read long stuff either but this was good. The one about the street lights really hit home!

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes. Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints. We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took hitchhiking. As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster seats, seat belts or air bags.Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat. We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle. We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and NO ONE actually died from this.We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank koolade made with sugar, but we weren't overweight because .WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING !We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on.No one was able to reach us all day. And we were O.K.We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem. We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet or chat rooms.......WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were nolawsuits from these accidents. We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever. We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of.They actually sided with the law!
