Crawfish Boil

This past Sunday I had a crawfish boil at the house. It was the first time that I had one. I needed some help with doing the crawfish so I went to someone that I knew could help me. He has had plenty of practice with boiling seafood. I knew that I could count on him for showing me how to boil some good tasting craw-dads, and a pot to boil them in. Thanks for everything Chris.


I was expecting to have about 13 people eating crawfish so I ordered 70 lbs. When I got there they had 80 lbs waiting for me. I figured that it would be good to have a little extra anyway. Well we ended up not eating all of the crawfish. Matter of fact we didn't eat a lot of it. But its a good thing that I had my food saver handy. I was able to put up two bags with a little more than a pound a piece and another bag with about 3 lbs of tails (unpeeled). I look forward to making me some good fettucini with that!
