Silly Cats

Amanda has been taking care of the cats in the back yard. Yes, I said CATS not CAT. We noticed a while back that the cat was pregnant and then one day it wasn't. We waited over a month to see kittens but it wasn't until this past weekend that I stumbled upon them. There are six kittens. Hopefully they all survive. Amanda started feeding them as well as the mom so I am pretty sure that they are not going to be hunters like their (wild) mother is. They are going to be dependent on cat food and they will die when Amanda cannot feed them anymore. But she isn't worried about that. She just wants to feed them, no matter the outcome.

I don't know if you can ever take the hunting instinct from a cat. I only feed them once a day if that. I want them to trust me and you can't tell me that they aren't precious. Especially the runt- that one is my favorite b/c it is so tiny but yet it's the bravest one out of them all. I am in love!
